How lessons workIran has remarkable teachers of languages, creative arts, technology and more. Most have no simple way to be discovered by learners abroad.
Learners abroad, many of them in the diaspora, rely on word of mouth and direct messages to find a teacher. Quality is a guess and scheduling across timezones is a chore.
Without a shared schedule, clear cancellation rules or a fair way to pay, both sides take a risk on every lesson. Good teaching stays small and informal.
Full refund when you cancel at least 24 hours before your lesson.
Instructor applications are coming soon.
For adult instructors based in Iran.Every booking connects a learner with a teacher they couldn’t have found alone. It also gives that teacher a way to build a livelihood from their craft.
Each new instructor adds choice and open times. More choice brings more learners, and more learners make teaching on Polcademy more worthwhile. That draws in the next instructor.
Anyone can make a list of teachers. People come back to a platform that reliably gets the details right: bookings, fairness, safety and follow-through.
Before a profile goes live, a person checks the instructor’s identity, teaching experience and meeting setup. Profiles that haven’t been reviewed are never shown.
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund. If your instructor cancels, rebook or get your money back.
Your chosen time is reserved while you check out. Later schedule changes won’t move a confirmed lesson.
Sign in with a one-time email code. Only you and your instructor can see the lesson link and your booking notes.
If something goes wrong with a lesson, report it from your booking page. A member of our team reviews every report.
We begin small on purpose, so every early learner finds a great match, books easily and wants to come back.
Accounts, secure sign-in, a booking engine that can’t double-book, and reliable record keeping, all tested end to end.
Applications, the review process and weekly availability.
Instructor profiles, choosing a time, payment, cancellations and refunds.
Regular, recorded payouts so instructors always know where they stand.
A small, hand-picked group of instructors and learners to prove the experience.
Adults (18+) learning for life, work or curiosity, with independent instructors in Iran. That could mean English or French, coding, music or a new creative skill. We start in one learner region, then expand.
There is deep teaching talent there and real demand abroad. Until now, nothing reliable connected the two. Polcademy gives instructors a professional storefront and gives learners a trustworthy way to book them.
Each lesson is a one-to-one, 50-minute session on the instructor’s chosen meeting service, such as Google Meet or Zoom. Learners and instructors can leave short notes on each booking to prepare.
We’re planning lessons in languages, music, art, technology, career skills, math and science. Availability will grow as reviewed instructors join.
Not yet. This page previews the Polcademy experience. Bookings and instructor applications aren’t open yet. We’ll start with a small group of reviewed instructors and learners.
